Last updated: September 23, 2026. This notice describes the public HerdRanger website and the current Android app design. It must be reviewed and finalized before a public release or an operational beta intake opens.

Website

This static website does not currently run an interest-list backend, analytics service, advertising tracker, account system, or contact form processor. The beta-interest form does not submit, transmit, or save the answers entered in it.

Android app connection data

HerdRanger is designed to connect from your Android device to the Herdr host you configure. Saved connection credentials and host-trust information are protected using Android-backed encrypted storage. The app is not designed as a cloud relay for SSH credentials, terminal output, or agent transcripts.

Notifications

Optional Android notifications are intended to identify that an agent needs attention. Notification content is designed not to include terminal output. Your Android notification settings control whether notifications are shown.

Before beta collection opens

If a beta interest list is enabled, this notice must be updated to identify the data controller, a working contact method, exactly what information is collected, the intake provider, purpose, retention period, sharing, deletion process, and applicable rights. The beta form must never request passwords, SSH keys, IP addresses, or terminal output.
